A reconditioned Nyala from SwissQprint installed at Graphipro
With a reconditioned machine, the printing company gains speed and quality and access to the rigid media printing markets.
Graphipro is an offset and digital printing company with 11 employees, located in Ivry-sur-Seine in the Val-de-Marne and created in 2010, working for SMEs, institutions and large groups such as Daewoo, Kia and Samsung. In order to strengthen its large-format machine park and open up to other markets, the head of the printing company, Na An, was looking for a reliable and compact printer for her small workshop already equipped with an offset press and six plotters.
He chose the Nyala UV inkjet printer from the Swiss manufacturer SwissQprint, a model reconditioned by the manufacturer and installed last November.
A two-in-one large format printer
“I liked the look, the precision and the printing speed of this machine, but above all, with its two-in-one design, it was perfect for optimising our space,” explains Na An. “Our Nyala is worth two printers on its own.The Nyala is indeed a hybrid printer, a flatbed printer (3.2 x 1.6 m) but also a roll printer (3.2 m wide), allowing printing on both rigid and flexible media.
Nyala’s productivity is rock-solid
Graphipro also appreciates the productivity of the machine, which has a printing speed of 206 square metres per hour. Just before Christmas, Graphipro received an order for 68 panels. Before the Nyala’s arrival, during busy periods, the customer would have had to wait two to three weeks for delivery, but with SwissQprint, the panels were printed within the day, and I was able to process all my other orders,” says Na An. “The customer was very pleased with the quality of the panels and the quality of the printing.
Print quality and versatility of UV inks
The company director also notes the quality and versatility of the inks on her new press. “swissQprint uses UV inks. I can see the difference in the rendering compared to solvent inks. UV inks offer better adhesion and the ability to print on more substrates.”
An accessible and cost-effective high-end printing machine
And this Nyala is a reconditioned machine, while conforming to the standard of new equipment and guaranteed for one year.
“Thanks to the refurbishment, we can afford a top-of-the-line large format printer at a cost we can afford,” says the CEO. “Considering the time it saves us and the new markets we’ll be entering, we made the right choice!”
